Materials The skeleton of the boat is precision-cut from high-quality plywood. The elongated hull is meticulously built by placing individual planks one by one over the frame, then finished with premium teak wood, vibrant royal red lacquers, and multi-layered gold-painted sculptures. Detailed fittings include solid brass decorative accents and fine custom wooden blocks. The Half Hull edition is securely mounted on a premium, hand-polished hardwood backing board ready for luxury wall display.

Maritime History

Launched in 1694, La Réal de France was the absolute flagship of the Royal Galley fleet, designed specifically to project the unmatched power and artistic opulence of the Sun King, Louis XIV. More than a weapon of war, she was a floating Baroque palace, famously adorned with spectacular gilded sculptures designed by the legendary royal artist Pierre Puget. Crewed by hundreds of oarsmen, her sleek and low-profile design made her one of the fastest and most imposing galley vessels to ever sail the Mediterranean Sea.
