- Masts and other pieces on the deck are made Teak and Acajou wood.
- Sculptures, anchors, and canons are molded in Zinc metal and painted.
- Cotton sails are tinted in the tea.
- Ropes are cotton and nylon waxed in the bee wax to do the rigging.

This model La Flore ship model extremely well built and perfect represents a small frigate of that time of Louis XIV. La Flore ship model comes from the collection of Phillipe Egalite. Although it is very ancient, we cannot say with conviction if it is the model of La Flore Frigate bought in 1784 and which was delivered in Bordeaux. This frigate which outfit is very exact, reaches the perfection of the apogee of the sails. “La Flore ship model” as with most of the frigate in general, is a very light and gracious vessel. These types of vessels are speedier than big vessels. They played the roles of explorers and of cruises.
