Construction of the boat:
- We place a layer of fiberglass on the hull’s planks and painted with acrylic paint.
- Deck made with small planks of Oak wood.
- Mats and all the pieces on the deck are made with Acajou wood.
- Anchors are molded in zinc metal and painted.
- Ornaments are molded in zinc metal and painted.
- Sails made with cottons.
- Ropes are cotton and nylon waxed in the bee wax to do the rigging.

In 1933 in Germany, Gorch Fock I is a three-masted barque who served as a training warship.
Gorch Fock Model I was launched in Hamburg in 1933 as a training sailing warship for the German Navy. Gorch Fockis three-masted barque and was named after the pseudonym. Therefore, of the German author Johann Kinau.
Prior to World War II was used as a training warship. In addition, during the war she was used as office ship and was scuttled by her crew. As a result to avoid capture by the Soviet Union. After that, at the war, Gorch Fock Model was salvaged by the Soviet Union, renamed Tovarishch. (Comrade). Nevertheless, Gorch Fock was put into service again as a training vessel.
She also took part in many Tall Ships? Races. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Gorch Fock Model sailed briefly under Ukrainian flag but was deactivated due to lack of funds for her maintenance. She was subsequently acquired by private sponsors who sailed her to her home port of Stralsund where she is a museum ship. She is however still in great need of repair.
Having lost all its training vessels as war reparation, the German government built a replacement training ship in 1958 following the plans of only slightly altered, named her Gorch Fock II and is still in service to this day.
