Belle Poule ship model History

The Belle-Poule was a 60-gun first-rank frigate of the French Navy, part of the famed Surveillante class. It earned legendary status for its solemn mission: transporting Napoleon’s remains from Saint Helena to France in 1840—an event immortalized as Le Retour des Cendres (The Return of the Ashes)
