Belem Ship Model ; Construction of the boat:
- We place a layer of fiberglass on the hull’s planks and painted with acrylic paint.
- Deck made with small planks of Beech wood.
- Masts, lifeboats and other pieces on the deck are made with Acajou, Beech and Teak wood.
- Sculptures and anchors are molded in Zinc metal and painted.
- Ornaments turned into Solid Brass.
- Sails made with cottons.
- Ropes are cotton and nylon waxed in the bee wax to do the rigging

Belem Ship Model
Année : 1896
Belem ship model was originally a cargo ship, carrying sugar from the West Indies.
Mainly some cocoa, and coffee from Brazil and Guiana to Nantes, France.
In 1951 she was sold to the Venezian count Vittorio Cini.
Who had died in a plane crash near Cannes on 31 August 1949.
She was rigged to a barkentine and used as a sail training ship until 1965.
Moreover, she was moved at the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Venice.
Nevertheless, on May 8, 1902, Belem narrowly avoided the Mount Pelée eruption in Saint-Pierre, Martinique.
